Remarkable edition, 40m practically unavailable and on 80 more

Running this event from the extreme South of Europe is quite
different than from the more Northern latitudes. SIgs on 40m were
all LOUD and everybody called zero beat. So the ones calling a
bit off got through first. After 24 QSOs in the same number of
minutes everybody had moved to 80 apparently, so I had to do the
same. But my antenna, a 21 meter inverted L + MAT-40 tuner, is
not working very well there plus conditions were very mediocre. I
had to S&P because nobody replied to my many CQs. Ever heard of
RBN ??? If you connect to a CC cluster you can switch RBN spots
on and a new world of spots opens up to you. On the Maasbree SDR
I was S7. That is not loud indeed but strong enough I would
think. The last 10 minutes or so the conditions picked up just a
little, so I could deliver the 10 bonus point to a few lucky
stations ... All in all had fun despite the fact I had hoped for
more QSOs. 73 from sunny Algarve, Sint/Enno.
